I have been cruising on Etsy as I want some pretty stitch markers. I noted on Ravelry there are some that are after Downton Abbey which I enjoy watching. .... So I have 2 sets on my list I want.

I wanted to nit very small or mini-mini stockings with a cuff, but after three days of searching the net I came. I thought it would be easy-easy to find a free pattern. Boy, was I wrong!!!

I think I'm gonna send my son back to BassPro for a

Double Binder Bag & extra pouches to hold all of my circular knitting needles that are not being used... and all of my extra cable needles, measuring tapes, stitch holders... you know.... all the fun stuff.

I really need an adequate "mother ship" here at home to keep all of my knitting equipment together. Darn circular needles are too expensive to go A.W.O.L. around here!

(Still remember one time my daughter, when she was learning to knit, thought the circs were disposable! I coulda killed her!)

I think I would like an additional Yarn Bin. I like those allot & one is just not enough when you get a few different projects going.
Also I want more Kollage knitting needles, now that they are made in the US again I want the sizes I did not get that I use often. ....
And of course stitch markers from my original post...

oops typs...

That is such an excellent solution to needle storage! I'm just getting to the point where I really need to sort and store my knitting and crocheting stuff properly. This looks like a very affordable and efficient method. Thanks!

Isn't it?!?!? I love this thing!

I really like the extra compartments (besides the pouches) for storing extra notions.

Hi!
I agree that the Worm Binder from Bass Pro Shop is super for storing circular needles, cable needles, crochet hooks, stitch markers, gauge rulers, tape measures...
I have two and they are great!

Saw something intriguing for you knitters this weekend - a knitting bowl! Perhaps you have already seen one at a shop but it was a first for me. The bowl is weighted and crafted to allow the yarn to feed smoothly out of a 'feed path'. The artist said her mom thoroughly tested the design.

I've been trying to find someone local who makes them so I don't have to pay more than the cost of the bowl for shipping! It's especially great when the yarn is in a ball.

On my list that I want...a tailors ham and seam roll. I sent my kids (hey, they're 13 & 15) an email with pics AND Hancock is having 50% off notions on Veteran's Day...so they'll be really cheap!

As for gifts, I am thinking of knitting socks for my mom (and sewing an apron for her and pjs for my dad). I'm going to try to knit hats for my two nephews too.
