Date: 12/8/12 9:11 PM At first I wasn't loving Spring's palette. But it's growing on me.
When do fabrics featuring these colors begin appearing online and in stores? |

Date: 12/11/12 8:25 PM yeah, I'm cool with it. The Emerald seems to shout "Kiss Me I'm Irish" if it's overdone, but I could go for a pair of jeans or capri pants that color. I like the shades of blue (and I have lots of it already!) I like most of the other colors too. |

Date: 12/17/12 10:25 AM If you're looking for Emerald knit fabric Nancy's Notions sells a good quality rayon/lycra jersey knit in a color they call Jade. This knit was made by the fashion oriented, Canadian fabric manufacturer Telio. Nancy's Notions free shipping coupon code, good through December 27th is 125434-2199.
Last month, I bought a 1/8 yard swatch of this fabric and compared it to my Pantone Shopping Guide fandeck, and it appears to be an exact match to Pantone 17-5641, which Pantone calls Emerald.<
By the way, if you'd like to buy your own Pantone fandeck so you can see what Pantone's colors look like when they're printed on paper, ebay sells thePantone Color Guide which contains the very same 1,756 colors that are included in Pantone's Shopping Guide fandeck that many of us on Pattern Review bought a few years ago.
To be honest, after seeing Pantone's Emerald color on the Color Guide fan deck and even more importantly as a fabric, I do have some reservations about it. Pantone's Emerald is light to medium toned true green. It is not a teal, turquoise or aqua, as it appeared to be on my computer monitor.
