DD and I really like the seaming details on this dress. It would be so easy to make with the right pattern. Has anyone seen anything out there with seam detailing similar to this?

What about Vogue 8743 as a place to start.

How about Burda magazine October 2012, number 108?

I think this pattern from Schnittmuster Garconne is perfect. (Sorry, i cannot figure out how to make this a true link). It has 12 pieces, I think they also have one with 8 if you poke around the site a bit.

Just another thought http://voguepatterns.mccall.com/filebin/images/product_images/Full/V8509.jpg

Tried to get the image to come up..someone smarter than I will do it I am sure. At any rate, it is Vogue 8509

Thanks for the input ladies. That Garconne pattern is looking pretty good. I think I could use that as a starting point (more suggestions welcome though if you've got them!!).

These german pattern sites are killing me. I think I could spend a small fortune on German patterns...their styles just speak volumes to me...need to go find me a money tree! :p

And here's the Vogue.

To make a live link, all you have to do is copy and save the URL, then type your message to the place where you want to insert your link. Look up to the blue http:// button above the message box, hit that, and insert your copied link in the space that appears. Click OK.

The next thing that will happen is that the box where you put the URL will turn to a space asking you to give the link a name. In this case, I just typed 'here's,' followed by OK, and then 'Post.'

My 'here's' appeared in red in the posted message, and it's a live, clickable link.

I have yet another suggestion from Silhouette Patterns. It's #312, Giorgio's Top and it's their Pattern of the Month. So, if you like it, go to Facebook and get the coupon code so you can purchase it for $9.99 instead of $14.00. Be sure to click on the photo to see the back of the envelope with the line drawing.

The sleeves aren't raglan sleeves (but close enough) and it's not actually a dress, but by adding length to the panels, you'll be able to create the same knit dress. Of course, you're going to have to buy just the right, drapey knit fabric to make it out of, but that shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with your project.

I knew that Burda Style Magazine would come through! You would just have to make the skirt flare out, either by slash and spread or combining with another pattern:
