Date: 12/9/12 0:15 AM Does anyone know of a pattern for yoga pants for 10-12-year-olds? I have some great fabric for this purpose, and all I can find are legging and pajama pant patterns.
Burda seems to have a better selection than the big 4, but the patterns seem to be for jeans, sort of....
Alternatively, is there a common way to alter a legging pattern to make pants?
Thanks for any advice! ------ Jeanne

3-piece Yoga Pant
Many people are successful with this pattern. I believe a saw a child's version of that on display at a recent show put on by Peggy Sagers. I don't see that pattern on the web site, but email Peggy. She is very quick to reply. Good luck! ------ Sometimes she didn't always follow the recipe.

Date: 12/9/12 5:20 PM Thanks so much, folks!
Sounds like Jalie actually bridges that gap between the up to 8 years and junior's sizes, so I'll look into that.
I did stop by Jo-Ann's (which doesn't sell Jalie) and got a pattern that looks like yoga pants, though that's not what they're called. They're a "Hannah Montana" pattern. I may have to conceal the brand tie-in from my daughter, who was never that keen on Hannah even when she was on the air... ------ Jeanne

Date: 12/10/12 3:24 PM I just ordered the Jalie from PR last night. The on-sale Simplicity pattern has a zipper--seems like if I'm going to get special stretchy fabric we ought to be able to do without a zipper.
Thanks for your counsel, all! ------ Jeanne
