Yoga pants for girl Not much variety in pants for tweens

I have some great fabric for this purpose, and all I can find are legging and pajama pant patterns. Burda seems to have a better selection than the big 4, but the patterns seem to be for jeans, sort of.... Alternatively, is there a common way to alter a legging pattern to make pants? I believe a saw a child's version of that on display at a recent show put on by Peggy Sagers. I don't see that pattern on the web site, but email Peggy. She is very quick to reply. Sounds like Jalie actually bridges that gap between the up to 8 years and junior's sizes, so I'll look into that. I did stop by Jo-Ann's (which doesn't sell Jalie) and got a pattern that looks like yoga pants, though that's not what they're called. They're a "Hannah Montana" pattern. The on-sale Simplicity pattern has a zipper--seems like if I'm going to get special stretchy fabric we ought to be able to do without a zipper.
