Date: 12/13/12 7:09 AM I am putting some singles in my cart-great sale. I am wondering what are the big expensive packs that I am missing. Any suggestions for good ones/must haves? My internet is not the world's fastest for looking on that site. Admittedly EL gets quite enough dollars from me with all these specials.Lol! |

Date: 12/13/12 10:16 AM I never realized the design packs were like that -already found a large quilting design set and a kitchen herb set that I put in the cart. I had been looking in the best sellers for some ideas so the design packs tab will save time-don't know how I never noticed that. Not that I need ANY more designs in this lifetime but it is way more fun snagging them cheap than stitching them I am beginning to think. |

Date: 12/13/12 4:25 PM There are several over there but since you are a quilter you have probably seen these before. I have done a quilt old style in a real frame but other than a few small projects using machine quilting I only dabble. The one I picked is the feather version. Now I am thinking maybe I should get more than one type. I am still trying to decide which size would be most useful. If I get the XL I can use it on the 6 needle but not my single needle machines. I am also wondering if I would be better off to get the L (under 6x10 size). I am sure on a quilt the larger the better but on things like a dresser scarf or baby quilt with small blocks maybe not so big would be better. I wonder how these things do with enlarging or decreasing. Any thoughts on that or preference size wise on these things? |

Date: 12/13/12 7:39 PM I was thinking about getting the feathers also. I have most of their stippling designs at a dollar I couldn't resist. I think the size depends on the size of the area you want to do. It's a shame you can't get multiple sizes in a pack. ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

Date: 12/14/12 7:51 AM I like the $1 ones as I could get the ones I would be interested in without buying so many- hadn't really looked through those. I found a quilt pack that was $69 but it wouldn't go in at $12.12 . I thought it said all the packs but guess they excluded it. Anyway it would not reprice-a shame since it had loads of stuff in it.I don't recall them saying anything about excluding some packs. Oh well. |
