Last week as i was looking for a manual for my 2058 to put on my ipad, i found a manual
for the Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.2
Has anyone seen this machine in a store yet? Wonder what
is different from the 4.0. Hope this one has the improved (box) feed like the Cs and the PCP.
The manuals can be found here:

What a great find by you -- Ive been hoping they would do this for a while!

Great find - I really like both the purple and the blue fronts.

Thanks it was purely coincidence. Although i have been on the lookout for a new Expression for quite a while. Not that i need one but i think the world needs a new pfaff quilt expression with box feed

Of course i read this manual, but there was no mention of improved feed.
I did notice that the freemotion foot included with this machine is the same as the darning foot that came with my 2058. This foot works very well, esp. When you use a dremel to make it an open toe foot. Patsy Thompson uses this foot in her fabulous freemotion videos.

What's weird is that when I pasted in the first web addy, it takes me to the Pfaff manuals page, and the Expression 4.0 isn't even listed. The 2 and 3 are listed.
So I'm too curious about these machines, and would love to know if they are planning on releasing these here. They sure are pretty, looking at the photos in the other thread.

Just wanted to say my Pfaff dealer is saying sometime maybe in May for these new machines. She said she didn't think it was a big upgrade, but wouldn't say what she did know, if anything. Either way, she didn't sound enthusiastic, and obviously didn't want to discuss it!
They are a newish Pfaff dealer, and I'm not sure what their stance is on becoming a Pfaff dealer. Maybe they are regretting it. It's been so long since we've had a Pfaff dealer anywhere in South La, that maybe it just hasn't caught on yet.

I see the manual has been removed. Glad I downloaded it!

I really like the Expression 150 Anniversary model. A nice selection of stitches for the money...just wish it had the knee lever and hover/cutting like this one. But then again, simpler may mean better in terms of repair issues.

The 3.2 is blue, 4.2 is the purple one.
I asked on Pfaff's Facebook page when these models were going to be available and their response: "Naturally we always have new exciting models on the way with great features and good design. Stay tuned!"

Not totally impressed. I can only see cosmetic differences which is only the color
I had hopes there would be a touchscreen feature on the new quilt expression.

the BEST response I've seen. So informative it suggest it's release date and some specs of their new machines!
