So let me start over:
When I got my first machine in 1975, with all those cams to make decorative stitches, I took a class on "Crazy Stitches". I remember making a funky table runner back then.
I got re-inspired to do this all again after reading all the buzz about Stupendous Stitching Class on Craftsy.com . (that class is on sale again, by the way!)
Here's one of the pics from my blog:

This was a lot of fun to make.
There's more pics here: Mardi Gras Bag
This one was made up entirely of fabric from my Great Craigslist Fabric Acquisition of 2012... right down to the pocket in the lining.
I think I'm going to do the next one up out of selvedge edges... -- Edited on 12/17/12 12:35 PM -- ------ nightowlsally.com
On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Very nice! The bag is beautiful. And thanks for the link to the yarn. I agree you can't go wrong with it! |

Date: 12/16/12 6:59 PM Beautiful purse. I am working my way through the Stupendous Stitching class and it is so much fun. I never knew what to do with the stitches on my sewing machine. Being a garment sewist, this was an eye opener for me. And did I say it is fun? |

When I looked today, the class was on sale for $19.99 again!
For $20, you can't go wrong. She had some really neat tips and ideas.
