Date: 1/6/13 5:55 AM I would like to get the PR notifications when I get comments on the reviews that I wrote. I am getting way too many PR notification emails on my commnts made to other reveiwers.
Is there a way to selectively turn off PR notifications or is it all or nothing? Or perpaps just the comments on reviews written by me? ------ re-living my youth through sewing... |

Date: 1/6/13 1:48 PM Take a look at the link in the message above. It will show you that in the notifications centre you can do just that- get notifications when someone comments on your review, but to when someone comments on a review that you commented on. ------ Connie Bontje

Date: 1/7/13 6:09 AM Yes I did find and do that already.
I ended up turning off all PR notifications for reviews by others that I left comments on. Which is a shame because I would REALLY like to be able to keep up with a selective few that were well written and I am interested in.
Unfortunately, if someone writes an off topic or non review on a machine, I can't rate it OFF TOPIC or NEEDS MORE INFO unless I leave a comment.
And then of course I am stuck with being notified by PR when everyone else leaves a comment of the same type. So I turned it off. Now I can't follow the reviews that interest me.
So that's why I offered the suggestion of making it selective- like Topic Tracker. I cetainly don't want to get PMs from every Topic I comment on!
I do hope PR will consider my comments on the drawbacks of all or nothing when tracking reviews written by others. Perhaps remove the forced rating for poor or off topic would work? ------ re-living my youth through sewing... |
