I want to rave about Richard the Purolator (Canadian courier company attached to Canada Post), delivery man for my office.
He is great! Friendly, professional, polite and a great guy.
If he has a delivery addressed to my home he brings it to my office, because he knows I will be there to sign for it.
So who gives you great customer service? ------ Proud parent of a Dwight International School Honour Roll Student |

Date: 12/18/12 11:24 AM Chloe at StyleArc!! To the extent of making one her employees take off the top she was wearing so the inside could be photo'd for me as I was having problems with it. And a followup email several days later to see if the problem had been resolved. ------ 2009-113.25 yds

I was called at home and asked a question about my order once, and it wasn't about faulty billing or anything. I cannot remember the question but I was stunned at the time by their asking me first! They have so many things - the catalog has more than the website - everything from threads to doll making supplies and in between. Love them. I think I have bought every notion there one time or another for my machine + more! They have some interesting fabrics for special purposes you don't see in other places - like Warm Tator, InsulShine, GripTight, and my very fav for pillow covers - Bohemian Ticking, which has an incredible thread count.

3 members like this. Date: 12/18/12 12:04 PM Hands down, Pam Erny at Fashion Sewing Supply! She is always prompt to ship. When you send her an email asking for advise because you fused the interfacing to the worng side, she responds within 12 hours with how to solve the problem.
Also, Roz at Sew Much Fabric is always extremely helpful, generous and quick to handle things.
It strikes me as strange but maybe not, the best customer service that I ever receive is from small independent sewing suppliers.
The only customer service that compares to the sewing community is kate spade, but ya know... ------ http://beccabeckstuff.blogspot.com/

Yes, everyone here surely has at least one complaint with USPS. But take another look, because they have improved mightily in the last few years (maybe due to competition from Fed Ex and UPS?)
Example: I mailed a package Priority Mail ($17 for a 7 lb box) to my parents on Saturday afternoon. From Georgia to rural Minnesota. It arrived Monday morning, less than 48 hours!!!
And I want to make a shout out to the entire staff at the Sprayberry USPS Branch in Marietta, GA. Their customer service rivals that of any nice place of business in the area. They are above and beyond helpful, they use every possible tactic to serve customers expediently (like sending someone through the line to answer questions or give assistance before you reach the counter) and they are consistently pleasant and friendly. It has been a pleasure doing business at this branch this past year. ------ Margaret (Singer 201-2), Betty (Singer 15-91), Bud (Singer 503), Kathy (Singer 221), Liz (Singer 221 Centennial Edition)

5 members like this. Date: 12/18/12 4:35 PM I had a doctor appointment today. Let's just say, DC is not known for its customer service or its friendly receptionists. The receptionist was so pleasant the whole time, even when I asked her if I could get my blood drawn ASAP (I had to fast for the draw and was ready for a snack by that point as it was nearly noon) and to set me up on the system to view my test results online. These kinds of request would provoke an eye roll at best and outright rage at worst most places in DC. It was sooo nice. ------ http://theslapdashsewist.blogspot.com
