Best machine for layers of heavy fabric? Heavy fabric, layers, pillows

I don't know how it would hold up to a daily regimen of those, but I don't think the typical living room update would be a problem.

I have never tested this theory though. Having said that, I love my Singer 201 for sewing pillows made from upholstery fabrics and fringe. It handles 10 layers of knit fabric beautifully. Let us know what you find!

You need electrical power from the foot pedal in a mechanical or industrial machine. A computerized machine sends the message to the parts about how they need to adjust depending on what you select on the screen. A mechanical, motorized is simply on and off- full power ahead and controlled by adjusting your foot pressure. Anything in the feed dogs will get sent though (given that you can put it beneath a presser foot!). ------ re-living my youth through sewing...
