Date: 12/18/12 6:19 PM I have fallen in love with this sewing machine. It is so pretty it looks like a piece of artwork.
However, I think I am late to the ballgame. I saw it on a website that listed it at about $350 but it had sold out. Then I checked Amazon and it is being price gouged for about $1400
I found one on ebay for $525 but that is still $200 more than the original price. Does anyone know if there are still any available anywhere for the $350 ish price tag?

Date: 12/18/12 7:16 PM Gosh that is awfully high! The Singer One which is this sm in white is at JoAnn's for $249 this week. ...
I looked at the white one it is pretty , but I found trying to get the arm off to see the free arm was kinda tricky for me. It is pretty though. ------ I am a gal from Kalamazoo.... oh what a gal... smile.... It is in Michigan... la la la ...love that Glen Miller classic!

Date: 12/19/12 0:35 AM I have mine on Craig's list with the red carry bag for $250, which I think is fair, but I am reluctant to pay for shipping. I would keep watch on Craig's list in your area. eBay is gouging people because it is not longer available. There must be others like myself that will sell at a decent price so keep looking. I hope you find one. ------ Brother PC420

Date: 12/19/12 7:00 PM I bought the machine last January from HSN. It was always a secondary machine (see my list below) is it got low to moderate use. I am selling because I just bought a new embroidery machine and have to get rid of other machines. The last machine I shipped cost me $100. I do have all the packaging and I could see how much it would be. That include insurance as well. ------ Brother PC420

Date: 12/20/12 0:05 AM Check the USPS website and get a price point for shipping parcel post. It's much cheaper than the other services and way cheaper than UPS or FedEx. I shipped a spinning wheel in a giant box to the other side of the country with insurance of $500 on it for $28.00 total a year ago. The USPS website has a feature where you can enter the dimensions and weight of the package and the zip code destination and it will tell you how much for each service. Parcel post is usually not listed right away, you have to click a link to see the cost, and I've had to ask for the price of it in person as they're always pushing First Class and Priority at my office. Parcel post is usually pretty affordable for something not ridiculously heavy. And my spinning wheel wasn't light. ------ Bernina 330

Date: 12/20/12 1:11 AM Thank you LaurenEmme. I will check it out. I am a school teacher so will not have time to get to this before this weekend, so if I shipped it will not arrive for Christmas. ------ Brother PC420

Date: 12/20/12 11:06 AM Thank you for checking. I am in no hurry. Could you tell me the condition of the machine? Are there any scratches, etc? Thanks. -- Edited on 12/20/12 11:07 AM -- |
