here it is with the one I made for my grandosn last year:

Date: 12/20/12 11:46 AM Love it. Did you quilt it first before you put it together? I can't think of any other way you could have done it but that way. I know, it sounds dumb to read the question, but some days, my brain needs a little help in the mornings. ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

I cut out a bit bigger than the pattern, basted the edges, and FMQ the front and just stippled the back.
I cut the back with the toe facing the WRONG way, so I had to piece it...I had it laid out facing the correct way, the for some inexplicable reason at the last second I turned the pattern over! So I fully understand the brain needing a little help.....------ Cathryn |

Date: 12/21/12 1:17 AM That is gorgeous, what a clever use of such elaborate fabric. I am impressed at how you centered it so perfectly. It is really beautifully done. And MJ's is really cute. This year he is old enough to really join in all of the fun.
Christmas with older children is delightful, but there is something special about Christmas with little ones. ------ Barb |
