Date: 12/25/12 4:22 PM Does anyone think the Bernina 730e is a good machine to start learning embroidery? Of course the shop that I asked this question to gave me a demo on the Ellisiomo gold priced at $10,000. Yikes! |

Date: 12/25/12 5:10 PM I love my 730E. It has the ability to change the size, rotate, mirror image and move the design all on the screen. Usually you have to have some kind of software to do these things.
My Bernina dealer said that the newer machines won't have this feature.
Very easy to use. ------ Ada

Date: 12/25/12 5:29 PM I never bonded with mine, but that doesn't mean it's not a great machine. Many 730 owners love theirs. It wasn't the 730 that I didn't like as much as the Windows operating system. ------ Patricia

The Windows portion of it means it takes longer to boot up, but after that its not as slow at all. The only time you have to wait is if loading a giant embroidery. I do love mine too, it's a lovely machine. ------ Bernina 730E, 530, and 350PE

Date: 12/26/12 10:18 AM Did they give you a demo on the 730? You do need to make sure that the interface is something that you'd like. You want to bond with your machine! ------ Bernina 730E, 530, and 350PE
