Date: 12/28/12 10:39 PM Has anyone tried the SewkeysE patterns by Emma Seabrooke? I was reading on the website how they are fitted by shoulder measurements and wondered if anyone here had sewn one. I checked the pattern reviews but none showed up, so I thought I would post the question and see if anyone had tried one and not gotten around to posting a review?
Thanks,

Date: 12/28/12 10:57 PM I took a couple of her classes at a sewing expo years ago. I made a t-shirt (I don't see the pattern on her web site). The fit was very loose and there are other tees that I prefer. I've also made her one seam pants and the fit was good. In general her patterns seem to be very loose fitting. |

1 member likes this. Date: 12/29/12 11:19 AM I have made the Georgie Girl and was very happy and encouraged with the fit. It is a shoulder princess tee. I have the issues of having a "mature" body shape with narrow shoulders and a bust. I don't remember which size I used so have no comment on the sizing being big. However, I do measure the pattern itself, so probably chose based on that. |

Date: 12/29/12 4:53 PM I also made the Georgie Girl twin set. I have a small frame with a large cup size. I had to tweak it a little in the the side seams (take in), I made it a couple of years ago and still wear it. I've also had good luck with Pamelas patterns, which are a similar idea.
I read your profile and it say's you're very thin, not sure if either of these patterns would be your best choice. Because of my full bust, I need often need a large in rtw, yet with these patterns, I need a small. -- Edited on 12/29/12 4:57 PM -- ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |

Date: 12/31/12 2:28 PM Thanks,
I should have put thin, but with a large bust (yes, it's all mine and no it's not all that great) in that profile.
I like the way the patterns look but I usually need something a little more structured so I don't look so odd.
Thanks for the help,
