Date: 12/30/12 2:02 PM Thanks for the link. I signed up for the new "Sew the Perfect Fit" class. Right now I am watching "Tailoring Ready to Wear", which is a good class. Angela does a good job. ------ Ada

Date: 12/30/12 6:59 PM I'm really interested in this class but have what may be a rather naive question. The class description mentions fitting a muslin on the body. Is a helper/sewing buddy necessary or can I do this myself? In the alternative, anybody in the Pittsburgh area want to buddy up? |

Date: 12/30/12 7:05 PM Thanks for the tip. I signed up for Plus-Size Pattern Fitting, so the special is for any one class, I think. |

Date: 12/31/12 4:38 AM Craftsy classes are online so geared to let you learn on your own. Of course a buddy never hurts. I love the sale prices - especially when they include the pattern. The computer platform is well designed, the iPad stable and just yesterday I downloaded the new iPhone/iTouch App which worked great. I can send the videos to my large screen TV over Apple TV and enjoy HD viewing. I hope they can stay in business. Sometimes I wonder if the instructors will stick with these -never expire- formats. I am going to have a busy new year as I signed up for 5 in the last 2 months! ------ re-living my youth through sewing... |
