So... I've never used fusible web before. Its Christmas) time and I saw a video on Hawaiian 2-for-1 applique blocks and thought... fabric snowflakes. So I made 8.5 inch fabric snowflake thingies with the fusible backed fabric. Took several tries, still some thing to improve if I did this again and mind you its all completely scraps and remnants from other projects in my stash, nothing purchased (even the fusible was free with my K-Mart points) even the batting will be scrap batting. Anyway, here is the result of my esperiment, still needs to be quilted of course

I wanna see other peoples experiments. I was really not sure how fabric snowflakes would work out. Took me a bit to figure the best way to do it.

Nice work. I like the colors you've used- they make you feel cold- especially with the snowflakes on them.
I am currently using iron on applique to make a rendition of Van Gogh's Starry Night for a quilt competition. It is slow going, but so far I've only made a few mistakes!

That came out AWESOME!! Great job!

I feel like nearly everything I make is an experiment, because I rarely have it all planned out when I start, I make it up as I go along
