Date: 1/1/13 7:59 PM I mostly played during my time off for the holidays. I fooled around making some placemats. My friend loved the quilt I made her, the one I showed you guys. Not sure what quilt project to start next, actually was thinking of doing a wall hanging and maybe some new techniques or patterns. Holidays were a little stressful, ghosts came to visit me this year. So kinda of glad to be headed back to work tomorrow and routine. ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

My daughter starts classes again soon so I will be babysitting a lot.
The GREAT news is the he is finally getting old enough to stay in his bed, even if he hears me upstairs!!
I have sewn while he is napping! And he stayed in bed! ------ Cathryn |

1 member likes this. Date: 1/1/13 8:44 PM I'll be working on DH's cowboy quilt, and then a memorial quilt for a friend of my sister, and a baby quilt I promised DD for her friend. Once those are done let's see ----- there will be the quilt for the travel trailer bed.
After that, I really want to get to doing some garment sewing. Of course, it'll take me half the year to get that quilting list done! ------ Bernina 730E, 530, and 350PE

Date: 1/1/13 9:09 PM Well on Christmas my son brought 2 garbage bags full of t shirts out of which he wants a t shirt quilt, I need a baby quilt for February and I told the local quilt shop I would have 2 classes this spring so now I need the samples to display. Somehow I thought when all my gifts were done I would be looking for projects but evidently projects look for me!! ------ Elna Excellence 740, Pfaff Quilt expression 4.0, Janome 300E, Brother 8500D, Janome 900CPX CoverPro, Brother 5234 Project Runway Serger, Singer Treadle

Date: 1/1/13 9:13 PM I'm piddling with the paper pieced Storm at Sea. About 25% of the blocks pieced.
In the wings, have Slouching Surly's graduation quilt top completed. Plan is to do a string pieced star from the trimmings for the back. ------ Brother Innovis NX650Q; Brother Nouvelle 1500; Brother CS6000i; Brother 1034D |

Date: 1/1/13 10:17 PM I have a bunch of UFO's I want to finish. A BUNCH. At the moment I am not sewing anything due to this horrible bug about which you don't want to hear more.
And I HAVE, HAVE, HAVE to use up some of this fabric so that I can buy more and help save the economy. I am a patriotic American and want to do my part, that is the only reason I want to buy more fabric. Right? You all believe me, right?

Spent quite a lot of time testing out combos, switching back and forth between the "FM bobbin case" and the regular bobbin case. Finally ended up with the regular one and changed my threads to both Superior threads. King Tut on top and masterpiece on the bottom - the Essentials thread from CT and the Metrosene Silk Finish didn't like to play in FM at all, though they made lovely stitching with the walking foot.
