Hi

Does anyone know of an app that could be used to make the pattern numbers easily accessible while shopping? I am working on making a custom templet on Bento to have access to pattern numbers as well as a picture. I wonder if anyone else uses Bento. I use Bento very lightly, when I try to create a files it does not go real well. Never the less I think it would be worth the effort to have access to this information when shopping.

There have been quite a few threads discussing pattern inventories, Bento included. If you do a search of the boards you should find lots of info.

I used the standard template to input my patterns. I have photos of the front and back covers, a link to PR reviews, reminder notes and can sort by garment type, pattern number, company, etc.

Are you inputting information on your phone, ipad or computer? The phone is the most tedious, but it can be done.

It's definitely worth it! I have Bento on my Macbook, iPhone & iPad and use it for my patterns and my fabric stash. Adding fabric onto the iPhone as I buy it is easy. I find adding the photo much easier on the phone rather than the laptop.

Like Chris, I have a pic of pattern envelope back & front (which you can zoom into on the iPhone to see yardage etc), pattern number, size, condition and purchase date plus a link to PR reviews. Love it.
