I got a free design with a crown with the word Princess under it and added sparkles on the crown. I took it to treatment today and my nurse was so happy she did a happy dance! She is going to take pictures when she gives it to Emma. She loves pink and purple as much as I do. Now of course I am going to do one for the 15 year old and the tech has 3 boys to do shirts for so I am getting a lot of practice.
What fun! |

Date: 1/3/13 2:54 AM I had mixed feelings when I first read your post, being a retired nurse myself.
I am so thrilled that you found a wonderful way to bring joy into another persons life. But as a professional nurse that went through the *old school*, it was protocol to never accept personal gifts. Minor things like cards, baked goods were fine. But it's going to their children and probably not more costly than cake baking. You are a very generous person with a heart of gold making some people in difficult jobs very happy. Good for you! ------ re-living my youth through sewing... |

Date: 1/3/13 11:14 AM Think you for writing. Our dialysis unit is very small and we do have a protocol that lets me share my cards and now the embroidery and they supply the blank good so it keeps it in the right place. Also I do for all like I am doing the 3 boys of the tech.
I enjoy sharing my crafts. It helps me know that I can still be productive and have fun doing it. |
