I need to stop all housework until I get my sewing room functional again. You never know how important something is to your wellbeing until it is gone
Step 1 - get off PR and start organizing so I can get to my machine

For about 1 month after everything was put back it stayed tidy now it is back to messy. I must like messy as it feels comfortable now and it didn't before.
I would definately stop all housework until the sewing room is back in operation. ------ Ada

Date: 1/8/13 12:25 PM Oh Kathy, I am in the same boat! DD wanted to switch her room for my sewing/guest room and I begrudgingly agreed. January 1st was supposed to be clean out and clean up day for me and get my sewing room reorganized but I've only achieved half the room so looking at the 31st to complete! I find it hard to think straight when everything is not in it's place and I really don't have a place for everything so good time to get the donation boxes filled. I, too, need to get off the pc and get more work done. I take a break just to check email but always meander to PR for inspiration and motivation and 30 minutes lapsed before I know it.
Anyway, approach the room like eating an elephant, one bite at a time! We'll cheer you on! |

Date: 1/8/13 12:42 PM Oh, I hear you. I hope you get it all organized into a manageable form so you can be sewing soon...even if it isn't quite set up perfectly. |

That'll teach him to arbitrarily decide to change dates If he'd come on the proper date, I would have had it all in order so he could get in. Right now I can't sew because everything got shoved in my SR for the holidays, couldn't sew in November because of two eye surgeries, and we just got back from out of state. So, my first goal of the new year is to find the floor in my SR so that I can sew. I have set my big goal again and this year -- barring further surgeries, health issues, child care, etc. -- will come closer to meeting it. All I've been able to sew since the end of October is two fleece tops, and I need desperately need to get back to sewing. ------ Total fabric on hand: 1/1/13 1683.731 yds

I think it's the sound of my sewing machine or thinking about sewing all the time to keep me thinking about sewing and not bad things. -- Edited on 1/8/13 4:04 PM -- ------ Relax, don't get your elastic all twisted up in your waistband!
