Let's post pictures of items made on the Babylocks as well as rave about the features of our machines!

On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.

My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

2012: New Elna Lotus (mostly for granddaughter), Red Elna Press, Horizon 7700, Gidget 2 Table, Babylock Ellisimo Gold

Done on the EG:

These are an Anita Goodesign design pack of in-the-hoop projects called "Pocket Purses".

The ones shown closest to the phone in the pic are the design's actual size as done without any modifications.

The chubby flip flop and larger owl were done by adding about an inch of design area so they would be big enough to hold a cell phone.

I also added interior and exterior pockets to some of them that I have done.

And I did this one over the weekend....

It was a bit of a bugger doing the piping around the top - it's only 4" wide on each side.... so I couldn't use a free arm. I explain more of it (if you're interested.. heh heh) on this page of my blog.

I couldn't figure out how to post a photo but on my blog page tonight I posted a horse that I stitched out 3 times. The first time was on my old machine, Brother Innovis 1500D, 81300 stitches. Then I edited the design to 44000 stitches and stitched it on my new Ellisimo Gold on yellow scrap fabric. Yesterday I stitched it on the back of my husband's blue chambray shirt.

The design was originally 4" x 4" and I enlarged it to 7.8" x 7.6".

I just got my machine last week and I'm loving it already!

I'll play! Made this set of linens in November as a wedding gift for DH's cousin. 100% linen, table runner, kitchen towels and a set of cocktail napkins. I did the construction sewing on my Bernina, but did the embroidery and contrasting hemstitching on my Ellure Plus.
