Embrilliance VS DG EmbroideryWorks everyday I have narrowed it down to these 2

Every time I research one software program I seem to discover another I had not heard of. So I think I have narrowed it down to these two. The DG is at the very top of my price point, but I thought I should give it a fair chance. As stated in previous posts....I am new to this and I need of software. Does anyone use DG and if so what can you tell me? Just wondering how these two compare to each other. The user interface is the same, but DG includes some features that are proprietary to them (can't remember off hand right now). I posted the same question early last year and here is that topic discussion. I REALLY like EmbroideryWorks and find it is so extremely simple to use. Just remember it's NOT a digitzing program and the Advanced module does not add this. It is merely an extensive design edit and merge program that allows you to do pretty much everything BUT digitize. I even got a great deal on it and I'm so excited to get it! I made a few calls (out of state, but from where I'm from) and found out that one place was having a special...$100 off!!! Basically, this allows me to use the Windows file system and be able to see my PES (embroidery file format for Brother/Babylock) designs in the preview window as a thumbnail. Otherwise, without this software, you don't know the design. Studio Plus or Studio III by Designer's Gallery is another type of embroidery design organizer, but it is expensive and you can do almost the same thing in the Windows file organizer system along with the Embrilliance Thumbnailer. Studio III is almost $249 whereas the Thumbnailer is only $35. As for the other question you posed about the difference with CustomWorks and EmbroideryWorks has to do with the modules. CustomWorks alone will let you edit, combine designs, edit stitches and some color control. But you need to purchase DensityWorks, HoopWorks and Sizeworks to go beyond that and even then, you will be going back and forth between each program (even though they do work together) EmbroideryWorks rolls all these into one integrated program in two modules-Everyday and Advanced. When it comes to cost, I think EmbroideryWorks is a little more if you were to get both modules. But when you get just the Everyday module, you're basically getting DensityWorks, Hoopworks (not all the features, but most) and SizeWorks along with some features of CustomWorks. The Everyday module doesn't have individual stitch editing and some other things, but the Advanced module does include those. I'm going to buy the Advanced module later this year.
