I just watched Sewing With Nancy today she had Fancy Footworks 2 as her presentation. And she had a binding foot that goes along the side to apply binding/bias tape & it was so neat! Anyone have one? Do you like it? ....also walking foot was shown, teflon foot, satin edging foot. Very neat show!

So like the binding foot or no? Thank you.

Not sure what foot you saw.

I've got a few different feet / attachments that make doing binding easier...

Did the foot look like this:

Bias Tape Foot w/ adjustable guide

With the one above, you can use packaged bias tape (which it seems I never buy!)

I ***love*** this binding foot and use it often!!! It's amazing how well it works for skinny binding.

The foot above is for Brother, but works on Janome ... I just have to make sure I set the needle position to make up for the Janome ankle being slightly off center.

On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.

My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Hmmm.... no it did not look like either of those.
This one had a piece she called the fence that scooted right up to the edge & you sew the bias tape on first with scant 1/4 inch then fold the tape over & stitch it on moving the fence to the 1/4 inch setting. ...

Thank you for posting.

Found it..... This is the one on today's show I think.

Stitch-n-Ditch Binder Foot

Combine the look of hand binding with the practicality of machine binding $29.99 from Nancy's Notions catalog . ....

What do you guys think?

Interesting looking!

Is the show online somewhere? If so, got a link to it?

Maybe on Sewing With Nancy? It is from her site, so there could be something to watch.
