Am looking for solid brown drapey knit for a princess seam dress. Have made my draft out of jersey knit (I think) and it worked great. Think that ponte may be too heavy for draping and I have to order fabric from internet as the only fabric store in my area is JoAnn's.

Thank you for any suggestions.

This will likely work. I love the 11oz rayon jerseys from EOS.

Thank you for your answer. Have ordered a lot of fabric from EOS and have always been pleased. Looked at her site, but didn't know how to judge the weight. Samples have been ordered and have to wait patiently for them to arrive.

Christine Jonson's new collection just came out and she has some beautiful brown knits. Christine Jonson You might want to look at her Rayon/Lycra fabrics, which have lots of drape.
