Hi, I have a brother nx 250 and my son just dropped a penny in the side air vent!!!!. What do I do? Do I go take it in. How can I take it out. Please help . Thanks in advance.

Once when in the Bernina dealership I saw them unscrew the casing off the machine to retrieve a like item. You might see if you can do the same. . If not .. I am sure it won't be much of a charge for a tech to see to that. Good luck

Thanks for a quick response. I think I am going to take it in. I am afraid to take my machine apart from the bottom. In 3 years of owning my machine nothing has happened to it tell now. I am glad its a penny in the vent instead of something major. Thanks again for suggestions.

Call ahead and ask if you can watch. It should not be difficult seeing this is part of routine service by their tech.
