Date: 1/19/13 1:04 PM You should be able to sit and sew comfortably. I set up a potable long white folding table for a while. It gave me a good perspectiveon how much table surface was ideal for my machine.
I sewed on a counter top too. That led me to learn it was much more comfortable to use an elevated surface for my shoulders and a foot surface for knee comfort.
I ordered custom made childrens desks. It gave me a good idea of drawers, shelves, what needed to be reached where. I used that for 4 years and got my money's worth.
Last year i moved up to an elevated koala cabinet. I like the elevation but would not buy again- just too much money.
I hope you find a great cabinet. ------ re-living my youth through sewing... |
