Date: 1/19/13 5:19 PM I have a PE500 by brother. I have purchases and downloaded several designs from Emblibrary.com. I have made sure they are in the right format, and the correct size for my machine. When I plug the USB cord to my machine and copy the file to the e: file, it will not move to my machine. It will show that the space is being used, but no design will show up. What should I do? |

Date: 1/20/13 12:56 PM Hi, I have a different machine, but I am able to transfer designs from a thumb drive or the cable. I think that you must have a file on your hard drive and then open up your file and find the designs that you want to send over to your machine. Then turn your embroidery machine on and then plug in the cable in your machine and your computer. There should be an icon that you press on your embroidery machine which should open up the design onto your embroidery screen. I do not think the designs are supposed to be inside of a folder. Read your manual carefully about transferrring designs over to your machine. You might find a utube video showing you how to do it.

Date: 1/20/13 1:30 PM When you plug in the USB cord a new drive letter will appear on the computer.
I think you may only be able to transfer one design at a time.
There is a minimum of 12 - See this from Brother.

Unless you selected this option at EL, you can either do this yourself, or go to your EL account and select unzip and download again.
I believe EL is the only company to offer this option.

Date: 1/20/13 8:42 PM Are you sure E: (on your computer) is your embroidery machine connection? Do you have several USB ports on your computer? If so, try connecting the USB cable to a different port. ------ Doo-doo-DOO-doo, Doo-doo-DOO-doo......
