Subject: Help! I lost the instructions Correct # is Simplicity 3506 Date: 1/20/13 8:52 PM

I am making the jacket and need to see how to do those pockets. If you could take a picture of that part of the instructions and email it to me, I would so appreciate it.

Thanks for any help.

hi, the pattern # is incorrect, its 3506. I don't have the instructions but have done those . I believe the instructions given on the Burda style site for "In-seam style pockets " should work.
And top stitch as the last step. Hope that helps.

Nancy, thank you for giving me the correct pattern number. I made a typo and titles cannot be changed. However, this isn't an in-seam pocket, but single layer to avoid bulk. That's why I picked it.

Yes, I understand that. You make a single layer pocket/lining fabric , turn it to the inside and then the actual fashion fabric makes the pocket when you top stitch it. I'll try to find the jacket pattern that I made which used this style.
Great, you got 'em!

Nancy, I thought you were talking about the bulky kind that are free floating inside the garment. MissChris, thank you so much. I had no idea they were uploading their instructions. Yea! I love patternreview where you can go and get help so quickly. Thank you so much!

It can be handy sometimes to check out the pattern pieces or instructions for something I want to draft myself. Or if you lose the instructions

And apparently my name is Nancy now. Cool.
