Hi - I have been embroidering all week with my ellageo -
today my machine can't recognize that my frame is on.
I restarted the machine, tried different designs, reloaded the embroidery module - nothing seems to fix the message.
Any ideas? Thanks

This idea seems kind of simple, but did you lock down the lever after sliding on the hoop? The machine doesn't know it is on till the lever is down.

What year is your Ellagio machine? Try a different hoop on the machine to see if it will recognize it. If not, you'll have to take it in to your dealer. There's sensors inside the embroidery arm and something may be loose or need replacement.

I don't know about a lock. The hoop holder did grab onto the hoop as usual.

I don't know what year - but it's an Ellageo 3 4.01 version. I did try a different hoop, different design, different floppy - I can't believe this - I was embroidering fine just before - Nothing odd happened - I didn't move the machine. I will call my dealer -
they had been closed all weekend and Monday. Thanks

It's the same machine I have the Ellageo ESG (apr 2000-2003). Inside the embroidery unit is a 3 pin slide switch, when the hoops aren't recognized 1 or more of the switches are broken. Your dealer will have to replace that part.
