Does anyone who owns an Ellisimo used twin needles in their machine.
The one that is recommended in the manuel is a 2.0/11.l I would like to use larger ones. Has anyone had any experience with twin needles and this machine?
Thanks for any help....

I own one but have not yet used the twin. I recall it was in the owners manual. I have used it on other machines.
Put the size you have on hand- or want to use- and set it for the straight stitch center positon. Then hand turn the fly wheel. As long as both needles clear and drop into the needle hole without touching anything you are good to go.

The same applies for a zig zag or decorative stitch. Hand turn it through the entire stitch and make sure it clears the needle hole in the throat plate. If it does, you are good to go using foot pedal or the stop/start button.

I found it on pg 49. Now I know why you mentioned that size- its the only one in the Manual. And it says to activate the twin needle icon and to use only certain stitches.
I suspect it may be possible to use a wider twin but if you run into problems BL doesnt sound like it would cover it under warranty.

Why not just ask BL?
