Date: 2/1/13 11:21 AM I'm new to the Atlanta area and am quite excited to be able to attend my first sewing expo.
Is anyone else going? Is anyone interested in having a meetup?
Here's the link to the expo: Original Sewing & Quilt Expo, Atlanta
Vogue Fabrics and The Wool House are listed as exhibitors (yay!). Here's the list. ------ - Jennifer |

Date: 2/8/13 5:06 PM Jennifer, I'd love to go, really, but I'm a 10-hr drive from Atlanta. However, there will be another expo in Birmingham AL in November that is much closer to where I live (Louisiana).
Hope you have a great time!

Date: 2/9/13 8:03 AM It's too bad but, 10 hours really is quite a distance. I hope you enjoy the one in Birmingham!! ------ - Jennifer |

Date: 2/10/13 11:02 PM I've been to the Atlanta Expo several times; it's one of the best on the circuit, I believe. You'll have a ball! I'd go again in a heartbeat, if the budget would allow it. I'm glad they've added new venues; A day trip to Birmingham is much more budget friendly. ------ Lisa -- so much fabric, so little time!

Date: 2/14/13 9:25 AM I went to this in Raleigh last year, it was LOTS of fun!
I will talk hubby into going again this year. It's about 3 hours away from me, not too bad for a day trip. ------ Cathryn |

Date: 2/19/13 5:03 PM I will be there! I took off work just for it, and have signed up for 5 classes.
I'm pretty excited- I have only been sewing about a year, and have never been to something like this before. ------ www.missparayim.com |

Date: 2/28/13 2:41 AM I have gone several times, not sure about this year though. Disappointed that Peggy Sagers will not be there, but Cynthia Guffey will. I usually sign up for the 5 classes deal for reduced price also. Some classes count as 2 or 3 classes so it is easy to get to 5. I always do some of Guffey classes. ------ "Let's make the most of this day"

Thanka for the Guffey recommendation. I was considering 1 or 2 of hers. ------ - Jennifer |
