Gorgeous! Yes, you need to do this. Just think, it will keep you off the streets for days and nights on end. You won't have time to look at any other patterns or fabric because you will be so focused on what you are doing. Yes, this could be a very good thing...

I tried to resize the picture... and thought I had deleted it. I never intended to go through with this post but it I must have accidently hit post. Oh well. I have the pattern in a book my Judy Mathieson and I have been studying it for some time. I have committed the year to finish whats already in the works so this might not go forward till I make headway with UFO's. I can at least start planning.

You know you want to do it. You just want permission to allow yourself to go wild and have some fun.

So, what colors do you have in mind for this quilt?

Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

Actually most of it is done with paper piecing, and that part is easy. it is the assembly that will be the challenge. I love the color used in this quilt but I do not want to copy cat so I will have to come up with something... only time will tell if I do it.

After doing Bonnie Hunter's "Easy Street" I'm swearing off any quilt with more than 100 pieces for at least a year! You go for it!
