Date: 2/2/13 10:12 PM I am looking for a online sewing supplies site, any suggestions? I am wanting to purchase several zippers and I really hate paying full price at fabric stores. Can anyone help with a good reputable, fast service option?
Thanks! |

I have ordered thread during their fantastic sales (they have monthly specials, in fact, I think January was zippers:-( ) I received excellent customer service, was able to return 4 cones of serger thread when the color didn't work, and have referred others to their site. I receive their monthly catalog and will definitely place another order. Give them a try, I think you will be pleased! |

Date: 2/3/13 10:12 AM I think Cleaner Supply is the same place as Wakak. I live in CT and if I order in the morning, my order is usually delivered the next day. They are not as extensive as Zipper Stop but the shipping is more reasonable and the prices are lower. If you need a very specific color or type though, Zipper Stop is the way to go. They will even shorten it for you for $1 which I consider well worth the extra $$ when it comes to something like metal jacket zips. ------ -- Anne

Date: 2/3/13 8:49 PM If you are sewing bridal, wawak has an extra strong invisible zip in white and ivory for gowns that is truly fail safe. Have used them numerous times when heavy duty zip is needed and you can"t beat their price or the shipping and speed of delivery. Also a great color selection on other zips, but the heavy duty only in white and ivory, maybe black? ------ 61sew4fun |
