Date: 2/6/13 5:03 PM I've been working on a reproduction of the chemise in Caravaggio's portrait of St. Catherine. I am doing the embroidery by hand, but would prefer a purchased trim in place of the needle lace.
Several years ago, I found this black & gold cluny (?) lace at Lace Heaven, but I didn't buy it, and they don't carry it anymore (although they do have black & silver).

I have been hunting all over--etsy, Cheeptrims.com, Google... and I'm not finding anything similar.
I'm hoping the PR trim gurus can help me out! The exact trim would be a dream come true, but even something in the same ballpark (black and gold with little points) would work.
Thanks!!
