Date: 2/6/13 10:10 PM I was perusing Simplicity and could't get to the news patterns. I looked into the dress section and saw the new Lisette pattern.
I think you can look at the new stuff if you go to each section until they officially post the new patterns.

Date: 2/6/13 10:37 PM I know. I really like the proportions of the peplum top. It 's not to hippy ( I don't need hippy, I have enough on my own!) |

Date: 2/6/13 11:37 PM They are all up now. I'm watching the pricing, Joanns and Hancocks ads both say $1 (for patterns up to msrp $17.95).... Anything with a designer name is $18.95, which is most of them. Plain vanilla is priced at $17.95. So, I'm not sure they will qualify for the sale prices anymore.
The last time they were on sale at Hancock, the clerk did an over-ride to give me the $1 price on all my patterns as a couple came up at $1 and a few at $18.95. If it really is the intention to cut off sale prices at $17.95, I won't get that perk again, a new policy will have been announced to the stores.
Hmmmmm, did the days of cheap patterns just disappear, while still being advertised at $1? |

Date: 2/7/13 7:55 AM I suspect my DD would zoom in on this one. ------ “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.” -Robert Heinlein and Ann's father. Thanks for the reminder, Ann.
Where are we going, and what am I doing in this handbasket?

Date: 2/7/13 9:23 AM Hobby Lobby has Simplicity for sale and they had the new ones that I was looking for. Seems like I missed a couple so it might be back to Hobby Lobby-their sign didn't put any restrictions on pricing. |

1 member likes this. Date: 2/7/13 4:15 PM I'm wondering if the $18.95 ones will be available in the $1.99 sales just not the $1 sales? I would never spend $18.95 for a Big 4 pattern. If I'm spending that much I will buy from a smaller or independent pattern company.
