Date: 2/7/13 8:45 AM Is this the place to ask about problems with my machine? I hate to be a downer...but most of the time I love my Sapphire 875Q but there are a few issues, mainly when I am FMQ'ing that drive me nuts. As is often the case, it could be "pilot error" and I am doing something wrong and would appreciate the advice of experienced quilters on this machine. Problems primarily around thread nesting and thread breaking. |

Date: 2/7/13 10:50 AM Been there, done that. This is not necessarily the fault of the machine. It is just doing what it is set up to do.
Try adjusting the top tension to make the stitches a bit tighter. Adjust and test until the bobbin thread no longer pulls to the top thread to the bottom.
Do a warm up with a mini quilt made up of the same top, bottom and batting each time you make a new quilt, or after stopping for a few hours and come back to the project.
