Canadain Mail Order Fabric Sources

Subject: Canadian Mail Order Fabric Sources Date: 2/8/13 6:44 PM Hi, Does anyone have any really good mail order sources in Canada? They access Telio and Eliot Berman which both have wonderful European fabrics. In Edmonton there's a store called Estee's Fabrics and they specialize in high quality fabrics as well. Don't know if they have a website but I'm sure if you asked for a swatch they'd send you one.

I also stumbled across a store called Mitchell's in Winnipeg that does mail order and carries an extensive line of fabrics.

They also have a small bridal department. The lower level of the store is pretty much exclusively home dec except for their "blast from the past" Vintage Department. They have a good sized bargain/remnant/clearance area on both the main level and in the basement. Mitchell's has been at their current location in Winnipeg on the corner of Main and Logan for over 50 years if I remember correctly. ------ Sheila "sewing very slowly to fill an empty closet" 2012/2013 Stash Busting Sew-Along: 27.25 yards sewn (as of 05/15/13) 21.75 yards purchased (as of 05/15/13)
