Criteria:
Center sewing position
Plenty of storage
Large area to the left of machine
Reasonable price
Please state brand and model, approximate dimensions i.e. length and depth and a brief description of the features. A link would be great! Hopefully this will be fun and help some of us in choosing sewing furniture. |

Date: 2/12/13 11:22 AM I have the Horn 5280, bought last year. The dimensions are on the link, just scroll down a bit. I love the extra space to work on. the back flips up and has supports, there is great space to the left side and has a add-on the drawer slides out and supports. There is also a flip-up on the right hand side. It is not large, but I use it extensively. I didn't buy the extra drawer unit that rolls under the single drawer because this is next to a corner computer hutch Horn used to make, so when I am not sewing the left hand side serves as a "desk" and my knees go under it well. The drawer is good and holds enough for me. I have really enjoyed this table.

Date: 2/12/13 8:13 PM Maia, I ordered it at the dealer where I bought my machines. They carry a few brands of cabinets.
ETA: I pulled out my paperwork...mine is the Quilters Vision Cabinet with Chest. They are in MO...phone #800.537.8891. Maybe you can inquire about the one you're interested in. -- Edited on 2/12/13 8:21 PM -- |
