Date: 2/11/13 11:16 PM If you love the 20's styles there are two patterns that would really adapt well for day dresses. Simplicity 1939 dress has a blouson bodice and dropped waist skirt. Butterick 5858 is a two piece with long jersey side tied top and dropped waist skirt with a high- low hem. They didn't all wear jazz-baby clothes like the flappers but really pretty, floaty dresses that had that drop waist and a looser top. |

Date: 3/8/13 3:14 AM Thanks for the ideas! I love Downton Abbey, and while they already passed my favorite years of fashion, I find that the show is making me fonder of 20s fashions. :) |
