I'm Obsessed Cool kids designer patterns

Date: 2/13/13 11:42 PM OK, so DD is a teen and my days of making whimsical, cute girls clothes are long over. However, a couple of coworkers have preschoolers, so I am making 2 little dresses I started looking at patterns, and then get on the SewBaby site (which I used to live on), and I discover all these wonderful designers-Ellie Inspired, Whimsy Couture, etc. I could easily buy dozens of these patterns. I don't remember this kind of thing available when my girl was little. OK, it was a long time ago. And I was busy with 3 small children. I love to sew kids' clothes, so I may be in trouble here. I have a huge stash, also. This could be a definite obsession!

I didn't have a sister nor did I have a daughter. But now I have a GD and it's a little like heaven being able to sew for her!!! She is already 5. I keep telling her to stop growing so fast because Grandma has so many patterns she wants to sew for her yet! Have fun with your obsession!!! ------ Thank you Lord for my Mother who taught me the joy of sewing.

Enjoy when you can. I am familiar with the two designers you mentioned. They are both wonderful. You may want to invest in one of Kari Mecca's books.
