Vogue 8379 How to finish the neckline

I read countless reviews suggesting that we omit the neckline facing. But what should I do instead? Turn 5/8" and simply sew down. I don't know what binding means, as some reviewers suggested. Twin needle? I've never used it and will have to figure it out, but I'm willing, this is my muslin run. Thanks!

You can also turn under the seam allowance, but that depends on how much you want things to "look pretty" on the inside.
