Date: 2/21/13 11:06 PM Just to play devil's advocate here....
I saw a daily special from Missouri Quilts. I am not a quilter, but there was a good deal of excitement, so I thought I would check it out. 50-5" squares of white for 49 cents.
What is that... a little less than a yard of 45" fabric.....
Unless you buy other things, the $5 shipping charge makes the total $5.49. That's still a decent price for quilting cotton, but if you just bought a yard of fabric you could cut it in strips, or in squares of a different size. It doesn't seem like an astonishing* deal. |

I hate cutting, but more importantly, unless I could cut those squares in just a few minutes, it's definitely worth it. ------ 🌸 Plenty of machines, mostly Berninas 🌸 |
