Date: 2/22/13 1:16 AM I would really like to know if there is an exact pattern to this dress in existence. Can anyone point me in the right direction, please.

Please take notice to the ruffle starts at the bottom then up to the waist area. |

Date: 2/22/13 8:03 AM Here's one that's similar but I would just move the elastic lower to the waist line :

Date: 2/22/13 2:35 PM From the photo, it appears that the skirt is a wrap skirt, with an opening on your left as you wear the dress, and the ruffle runs along the entire edge of the skirt (which is curved at the "corner" of the wrap opening) including the opening of the wrap, so that the ruffle runs all the way up to the waist line.
This could be a faux wrap such that the edge of the skirt that you can see in the photo (with the ruffle running up to the waist line) is stitched to the edge of the skirt wrapped underneath.
You could sew this either way, depending on whether you want the wrap opening to be opened or closed.

Date: 2/23/13 2:32 AM Not a bad price. You could buy the dress, deconstruct it for a pattern, then put it back together and get 2 dresses. ------ re-living my youth through sewing... |
