Just purchased this dress form and have made all adjustments to bust, waist&hips. Can't get the back/waist length to change. Instructions are miserable and I don't want to break the form. Instructions show a knob to turn (and I have 2 knobs & my stand is off center for pants). When I turn either knob it just gets loose (and I am afraid it will unscrew completely and fall out) but nothing happens. The knobs I am referring to are up inside the form.
Can anyone help. I might return this form if I can't get the back measurement longer.

Thanks for anyone's help.

UPDATE: I took a chance and took the body off the stand and laid the body on the floor. I just started pulling the top and bottom sections apart a little bit at a time and evenly spaced around being careful not to pull the top part of form out of the clips that hold top and bottom together. This method is not in the instructions anywhere. The dress form does lengthen about 1 1/2" which is not too much considering I am only 5' 2" and not long waisted. The instructions about the knobs up inside of the dress form are pretty much non-existent. I emailed the company when I received this form and I am still waiting to hear from them. So much for Dritz's Customer Support. If you are very long waisted, I don't think this dress form would work for you. I like this form, but I am still fooling around with the adjustments for length. Again, just winging it. This is a nice form and has been helpful in altering my clothes, but the instructions are useless.
