Date: 2/24/13 5:05 PM I'm a little confused about the binder sizes for the Janome Coverpro.
It says you can make bindings from:
32mm - 8mm
or
50mm - 15mm
I want the one that can make the finished size around 3/8". Would that be the 32 mm - 8 mm? ------ Janome Sewist 509

Date: 2/24/13 6:19 PM The Janome binders are both B binders - that means the fold both edges of the fabric.
A binders only fold the top of the binding and these can be useful when using thicker fabrics.
to answer yout question the 8mm is approx 1/3" and the 15mm 2/3".
I have bought some A binders from Sharp Sewing on Ebay - dont expect speedy replies to any queries, however having said that when I have ordered my orders have arrived in good time and the prices are good. I bought 3 binders whcih worked out with postage to be 60% of what one Janome binder would have cost from my local dealer ( I live in New Zealand ) ------ Wellington, NZ |
