Keeping track of Threads (Mettler, Isacord, etc.) Looking for app on Iphone

That way when I am in Hancocks or some other store, I will not be buying extras of threads I already have several of. I purchased the Sewing Kit HD to keep track but not happy with it. It is always kicking me out. It will not scan the threads and is just not stable enough for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Cindy

Evernote would let you type in each thread and add notes so it is the most versatile. You could also buy a bar code scanner for a computer and use it in a spread sheet. Then email the spreadsheet to yourself so you have it on your iPad/iPhone. We went the bar scanner/spreadsheet route when donating over 600 books before moving so we could itemize and attach a value for the IRS. I use Evernote at point of purchase or last use in a Notebook called Sewing. I have the annual $45 membership which syncs all devices and computers and has online data storage and access so it doesn't take up room on my devices. I like that I can record a quick voice note, snap a picture or add a URL to the item, depending on which way is fastest and how much detail I need to recall the item I want to buy. The free Evernote version would still let you type add photos and link URLs. ------ re-living my youth through sewing...

I will check it out. I will also check out the bar scanners. That would be the easier route to take I think. Hand entry would take more time. I could also use the scanner to record my patterns and put them into a spreadsheet. Thanks for the suggestions.
