Date: 2/27/13 3:44 PM I was looking for a few unique flower patterns. I can only find the same old ones I see everywhere. The pansy, several five petal flowers and double five petal flowers. Does anyone have any unique flower patterns? Also I need a leaf pattern. I looked at the local library for two books I seen online I would like and wouldn't you know that someone never brought them back and its been over a year! they won't buy new ones to replace because they aren't "new" releases. Very disappointed. |

Date: 2/28/13 9:07 AM What kind of flowers are you looking for?
Have you checked out Irish crochet?
I have some pre-WW II pattern books, and can send you scans of the instructions if that is what you are looking for.

Date: 2/28/13 10:52 AM I'm looking for 3D flowers. So, something like a rose (the one that actually looks like a rose), chrysanthemum, zinnia, aster, clematis any thing really and I need a leaf. I probably could come up with the leaf on my own if I had to. It doesn't look to hard and in fact I perhaps can get a close up picture and figure it out. But, actually any flower that has dimension will work I want to embellish a pillow with them. Thanks |

Date: 3/3/13 7:56 PM Thank you. I had looked on some of those sites and found a few. I then spent 2 days of looking on you tube and just all over. I think a have enough patterns to do a few flowers. I still would like some of the more unusual ones and I will be looking for some books. I haven't had much luck finding many books with the more unique patterns like a bird of paradise. I seen this on a site, that I now can't remember because I seen so many, and would really like to learn that one.
