Date: 2/27/13 5:04 PM Got an e-mail this morning from Craftsy about draping basics. I was so excited because I was just about to buy a dressform within the next week or two. Talk about perfect timing! Anyone else checking this class out?
Here's a linky, looks like it's got an early signup discount:

Date: 2/27/13 5:24 PM Saw it, want it...have to wait for it. The more I use my dress form, the more I want to get back to draping my own things. Just don't have the time right now, and with Craftsy, I know I'll be able to get it later. -- Edited on 2/27/13 5:25 PM -- |

Date: 2/27/13 6:06 PM Just signed up for it thanks to this thread! I got a GroupOn deal last week (thanks to another PR enabling thread) and used it on this course. Draping is the only topic I didn't get to cover when I was auditing fashion sewing courses at my local community college and I'm excited for this one. Thank you for alerting us to it! ------ I'm finally a blogger!

Date: 2/27/13 7:08 PM I totally missed on the groupon thread! I got the class for 20% off of $49, so I basically got it for $40, but I was so stoked that I bought it without watching the intro video! |

Date: 2/28/13 1:43 AM I saw it, and I do have a dressform but want to make something more accurate to me as well. I wasn't familiar with the instructor. Those who've signed up...how do you like it so far? ------ My blog: raggiegirls.blogspot.com |

Date: 2/28/13 7:51 AM Craftsy sent me an email this morning about the Draping class. Since I've never taken a Craftsy class before, they're offering the class to me for $14.99.
Draping is actually the first Craftsy class that sounds tempting to me. I own and have read Connie Crawford's draping textbook and have even used draping to create a garment. But I still think it might be helpful to watch a pro drape something in real time. So I'm going to think about it. ------ The essence of life is statistical improbability on a colossal scale.

The posters are trying to get PR members to buy the product by clicking on the link because they are compensated for these purchases. Since it is not possible for us to determine whether the poster is an affiliate or not, we have been removing these links manually.

Date: 2/28/13 8:27 PM I bought it this morning--as if I have time, but I couldn't resist. Of course, this evening Craftsy sent me a "we havn't seen you in awhile" discount. Oh, we'll...Maybe I'll just have to buy a 2nd class! ------ Swell Dame |

Date: 3/1/13 1:04 AM Added to my wishlist and wait for a better discount and maybe a few reviews if anyone has time to post one. Also haven't heard of the instructor, but there's a lot of new sewing people so who knows.
