I just looked at his pattern and really like it. I am fond of sweetheart necklines and it looks like it would be a comfortable and flattering style for summer.
However, it is a plus size pattern and I need about a size 12.
I have never made any changes that drastic, but I might be able to figure it out and trace a new pattern.
Any advice?

Hey Marti, it depends on your overall size. Burda patterns are quite generous and the plus-sized ones especially - more than the usual Big 4. So if you are an A-cup size 12, this is probably NOT the pattern for you. However a C-cup 12 would probably work to size it down from an 18.

Thanks for your response. No, I am a B cup 36, with high bust 34", and I am 5'1" so I guess it wouldn't work. I looked through the other pattern companies but couldn't find anything similar.
I did find this interesting article, so if I see a similar dress I can draft the sweetheart neckline using her method.
Thanks again!
