Is there a way to get this that isn't a download? I don't have a printer. Also, are there directions in English and are they as easy to follow as the big four? |

Date: 3/2/13 9:00 AM Nice jacket style!
Can you down load it and take it to Office Depot etc. to be printed?
Someone else will have to speak to the rest. Burda is notoriously well known for difficult tracing and directions.
Here's a Kwik Sew pattern that is very much like that jacket.
I made it, it was easy with great instructions, and it turned out very well. -- Edited on 3/2/13 9:08 AM -- |

Also - if you look near the bottom of the page you linked to - you will see a link to get a PDF of the instructions. You can get the instructions first without buying the pattern, read them and see if they make sense to you. |

If you aren't sure about doing that, Burda has some free patterns for bags and the like that you can download. That way you can try it out first without spending any money. -- Edited on 3/2/13 2:01 PM -- ------ Marilyn

That's perfect! It tells me it's nothing more than a shirt pattern with a straight bottom, then tells me how to create the additional pieces needed and a basic way to put it all together. I just need a shirt pattern in my size and I can do this--I think.
Thank you everyone, for your input. |
